Azvant Ramzi Utama earned his Bachelor of Law Degree from Atma Jaya Catholic University in Jakarta. He then worked for UNAIDS (United Nations for HIV and AIDS) Jakarta Office, during which he was heavily involved in preparing Indonesian Government Report on the implementation of ICCPR (International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights) and ICESR (International Covenant on Economic, Social and Culture Rights).

Being a member of Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) allows him to practice in all Indonesian Jurisdictions. Azvant involved mainly in litigation practices. He has extensively involved in litigation cases including criminal cases where he represented high-profile individuals in corruption cases.

Azvant has also been involved in a multi-million dollars lawsuits contract disputes involving a major foreign oil company and commercial dispute on intellectual property between major electronic apparels brands. He is also experienced in handling bankruptcy cases and cases proceeding in Administrative Court and Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia.
